Your photos are personal. We treat them that way.
They aren’t files in a storage bucket. Privacy isn’t something we added to P3 after building it — it’s how P3 is designed.
- A wedding
- A family afternoon
- A night with people you love
- you decide who sees these
We don’t want access to your photos, so we designed P3 to reduce it.
A photo is encrypted before it leaves your device. What P3 stores is encrypted data rather than a readable image.
Decrypted on the device of someone you authorised, when the app needs to show it.
Your photos shouldn’t have to be visible to us for you to use P3.
Your gallery. Your control.
Private by default
A gallery isn’t automatically a public webpage or something search engines can find.
Share when you’re ready
Send the gallery to the people you choose, when you choose.
Control downloads
Decide whether people can take the originals away with them.
Revoke access
When a gallery shouldn’t be shared any more, change or disable its access.
Your photos are there because you put them there.
We don’t sell your memories.
Your photographs are not advertising inventory, and your private galleries are not a social network we’re quietly building.
We don’t train AI on your photos.
Your private gallery photographs are not training material — not for us, and not for anyone we could sell them to.
Only what running P3 requires.
We aim to collect what we need — not everything we could.
- AccountWhat you give us to create and manage an account.
- GalleryNames, permissions and settings needed to run your galleries.
- TechnicalWhat’s required to keep P3 secure, reliable and working.
- UsageWhether features work, and where the product needs fixing.
The most sensitive part, handled apart.
- 1Before uploadEncrypted on your device.
- 2In storageHeld as encrypted data, not a readable image.
- 3While sharedAccess is managed through the platform’s encryption design.
- 4On displayDecrypted for someone you authorised, when the app needs to show it.
Accessible to the people you authorise, without leaving readable copies lying around for P3 itself. The hearts and comments people leave on a frame are sealed the same way.
Privacy isn’t the same as anonymity.
P3 still needs account information, gallery settings and technical logs to sign you in, prevent abuse and keep the service running. Privacy means being responsible about that access — not pretending no data exists.
Don’t ask people to trust us when technology can reduce how much trust is required.
“Don’t worry, we won’t look.”

“We’ll protect it all, we promise.”
Collecting less of it
Security is an engineering responsibility.
No online service can honestly promise risk will never exist. What we can say is that protecting your information is treated as work, not as a policy statement.
- Encryption
- Authentication
- Infrastructure security
- Access controls
- Monitoring and response
You should be able to decide, knowingly.
Your account
Manage the information attached to it.
Your galleries
Control how each one is shared and accessed.
Your photographs
Control what you upload, share and download.
Your data
Understand what P3 holds and how it’s used.
Privacy should be a feature.
Not a paragraph nobody reads. Your photographs deserve more than a promise we’ll be careful — they deserve a system designed to limit who can reach them at all.
Your memories. Your people. Your control.
Built for people who care where their photographs go — and who gets to see them.
